You get a layout / fit review ask — scoped with Brian before work starts.
Purpose (dual — both equally valid):
(1) Estimating — estimating-grade scaled layout so takeoff can run; or
(2) On file — keep the same layout for later jobs / BOD swaps.
Not decorative.
Today: customer intake + ALT / fit drawings from your plans.
Coming (MRS Field Layout): on-site as-found capture with laser floor plan
and equipment photos once the field stack is live — then the same ALT path.
Used for engineer clarification, cost-savings ALT plays, and package coordination.
Not a PE stamp promise — scope and deliverables are confirmed before drawing work proceeds.

Outside territory: you cover travel costs based on location —
flight, hotel, food, and per diem. No published dollar amounts; Brian quotes travel
case-by-case for the job site. Honest cost recovery, not a fee schedule.
Scope (GO) is still confirmed before layout / drawing work starts.
Fit / ALT assist only — licensed engineer owns any stamped drawings.

MRS Field Layout
When a site visit is needed, MRS Field Layout is the as-found capture method:
Samsung Floor Plan Creator with Bluetooth laser (Bosch BLAZE preferred — hardware spend on hold),
plus photos of every major piece of equipment and nameplate. Assets go to the job
04-field folder on Drive, then an ALT / fit drawing under the same rules as above,
then Brian GO to you or your engineer.

- No invented dimensions — field never overrides schedule BOD
How to request: Use the RFQ form and set Interest type to
Equipment room layout / fit drawings (Field Layout). Attach plans in the mail app after it opens.
Brian confirms scope (GO) before layout work starts.
Not for construction until approved. ALT / fit exhibits and MRS Field Layout captures are assist documents only. Licensed engineer of record owns stamped drawings and final design. Do not build from these materials without written approval.
